Rumiano Cheese Company is the oldest family owned cheese company in California. For four generations, Rumiano family members have partnered with small, independent family owned dairies in Humboldt and Del Norte counties. Thanks to the unique climate of northern California, local grass fed Jersey herds have year round access to pasture and produce rich, flavorful milk for Rumiano’s cheddar, monterey jack, mozzarella and other great cheeses. Rumiano Organic cheese is first in the world to achieve Non-GMO Project Verification and also carries the American Humane Association’s “Free Farmed” certification.
